The Drake, Amherst's live music venue is hiring door staff, and a part-time marketing person.
This could be two separate part-time positions, or for the right person it could have the potential to be filled by one individual able to take on both roles.
For door staff, you must have night and weekend availability 2-3 nights per week and commit to being around during holiday weeks. Bar / club experience a plus, for consideration for potential bar shifts. Ticketing, crowd management, and venue cleanup are parts of the job.
Marketing position candidates must be organized, self-motivated and proficient with various media interfaces including social media, email campaign marketing, and graphic design (Canva / Adobe).
The best candidates will have experience in a fast paced environment with also a general awareness of the live music industry, and hospitality.
