HELP WANTED!
Do you know a young person in need of an after-school job? The Old Creamery Co-op is currently on the hunt for motivated applicants in search of a part-time commitment. If you or someone you know might be interested in such glamorous, entry-level duties as washing dishes, mopping floors, and generally caring for the underpinnings of a thriving cooperative enterprise, stop by and fill out an application at the store - or send us an email via info@oldcreamery.coop. Shifts are generally around three hours long, starting at 4pm. Starting pay is $15/hr. Potential advancement for interested parties who may want to move into other departments down the road.
Speaking of other departments… Our Deli is also looking for an energetic, positive, and organized clerk to join our team for a couple of shifts a week. We hire at $15/hour, with opportunity for a $0.25 raise every three months for your first year. It's a customer service position. You spend your day taking orders, making sandwiches, and packing food for customers from our prepared foods and bakery cases. (You'll be using a slicer and a panini press - no ovens, no frying.) When we're not making sandwiches, we're prepping for the next rush or keeping things clean. It's a pretty active position, but we always try to make sure you've got backup during busy hours.
If you've got experience - that's super awesome. If you don't have experience but are ready to learn, we'll teach ya. Basically, we need you to be able to self-motivate, remain organized, and manage your time. We need people who like people like we like people. That you?
