Position Summary:
Northampton Area Pediatrics is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in accordance with NAP protocols and provider direction. The goal of our clinical team is to provide patient-centered care based upon individual patient and family needs.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintain and preserve confidentiality of all protected health information in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality law.
Monitor provider schedules to identify patients ready for rooming.
Obtain and document accurate and appropriate vital signs, along with reconciliation of medications and verification of allergies.
Review and complete medical treatments as ordered, which includes but is not limited to injections, wound care, lab procedures, DME dispensing, administration of medications, vital signs, ear wash etc.
Complete documentation of treatment administered according to NAP protocols and clinical best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Excellent clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and technical)
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
