We have an immediate need for a companion/driver for a 75-year-old adult female who struggles with short term memory loss from a car accident. She has no physical limitations. The pay is $19.10 per hour and is paid directly by Tempus.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience working with memory loss; however we will consider the right person who wants to make a difference in someone's life. This person would also have excellent communication stills, lots of patience, maturity, a good driving record, a reliable vehicle, be out going, and must have proof of Covid vaccinations.
This is one day a week opportunity, 6-8 hours. However, the flexibility to occasionally fill in alternate hours on different days for other PCAs is greatly desired. Laurie has a standing appointment every OTHER Thursday in Northampton. Gas money will be provided.
