Personal Care Assistant needed for a woman in the Northampton area. She lives alone and needs help to remain independent and stay in her own home. She's young so this is a potential long-term part-time opportunity. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication management, help with personal care, and companionship. There is heavy lifting involved. She can generally stand and pivot, but needs help - sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. She wakes up early and needs help getting up in the morning, so her day begins by 6 am and ends 9/10 pm. We have hours available between 2 pm and 9/10 pm 3 to 5 days a week. There is some flexibility. You must be willing to be Fragrance-free and work some weekend hours. The working environment is pleasant and comfortable, but it's not on a bus route so you need a reliable vehicle.
Preference is for an experienced woman, but if you have the heart for this kind of work, you can learn the job.
