Practitioner Recruitment
At Hilltown Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Services, situated within the Healing Hearts Sanctuary, with offices in Worthington, Pittsfield, Northampton, and Amherst, we envision our practice as a vibrant community where each practitioner contributes to the overarching ecosystem. We are seeking dedicated practitioners to join our dynamic team, fostering an environment where early-career psychotherapists can cultivate their skills and build confidence in their practice. Our diverse team embodies a rich tapestry of therapeutic approaches, akin to the varied flora in a flourishing garden. As a community-based group practice, we recognize that to thrive, we must nurture the roots that anchor us within our local community. Our mission at HBH is to provide a space that nurtures individuals while supporting the health of the collective. Each element of HBH plays a vital role in sustaining the overall vitality of our practice by offering essential resources such as office spaces, competitive rates, platforms for virtual meetings, billing, referrals, and credentialing. These roots nourish our collective health, ensuring our capacity to effectively serve those seeking support.
We invite recent graduates and those seeking internship placements—particularly individuals holding a master’s degree in social work or mental health—to apply. Our organization emphasizes learning, development, and flourishing within a supportive community, mirroring the way plants thrive in a well-tended environment. Early-career practitioners are vital sources of energy, essential for sustaining the growth of the entire practice. Their presence is indispensable; as they develop their skills and confidence, they nurture the foundation from which we all thrive. We encourage applications from individuals passionate about somatic practices, art, dance, poetry, philosophy or a love for music, as these modalities are valued within our therapeutic framework. HBH is particularly keen on attracting practitioners who are unlicensed and working toward licensure, fostering a rich environment of learning and sharing while ensuring the health of our community. This dynamic honors the space they occupy and sustains the practice while paying homage to seasoned professionals—those who are independently licensed or experienced in the field. The relationship is symbiotic; fresh perspectives from unlicensed practitioners invigorate the community, while the wisdom and expereince of seasoned practitioners provides essential nutrients enriching the soil for the whole.
