A well-established dental office located in downtown Springfield is seeking a full or part-time Registered
Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a calm and reassuring
demeanor with exceptional communication skills. We are a patient-focused total health practice offering
comprehensive general, cosmetic and implant treatment with state-of-the-art technology and procedures. This

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improve overall patient health through improved periodontal status, restorative health and aesthetic
enhancement.
Review and update the patient’s medical history, motivators, and concerns including blood pressure and enter in
the computer.
Assist staff with sterilization set up as needed.
Continuously participate in CE to advance clinical/technology skills.
Build rapport and establish relationships with patients to organically ask for referrals and google reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program required.
Current state license required.
5+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred).
Laser certified (or willing to complete online certification course).
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules.
Current CPR and X-ray certification required.
Knowledge of Practice Works and Open Dental software (preferred).
