We are looking for a woman, or small family, who would live rent-free (worth $1000 and including, kitchen privileges and a garage) in return for being the on-site care coordinator and on-call person for Jane, 93, and her cat, Arlo.
Since Jane is on hospice, various caregivers will be in and out of the house during the course of the day. Your primary duties would be to keep her schedule on Google calendar, field calls from care workers, coordinate with hospice to fill Jane’s pill box once a week, do the weekly shopping, coordinate occasional trips to health care professionals outside the home, keep in regular contact with Jane’s two children, and, in the unlikely event of an emergency, be on-call via text 24-7. Lastly, you would be expected to be at home at least five nights a week from 11 to 7.
We prefer someone who is also available on a part-time basis for $20/hour. There are various tasks and time slots available, and all terms are negotiable.
Experience with coordinating tasks and affinity with the elderly.
