Collective Cleaners is a small, local, queer-owned cleaning company that uses primarily eco-friendly, non-toxic products. We are looking to hire a Commercial Cleaner to start on Nov 11th. There is flexibility on the start date. We provide paid training as well as all supplies and equipment.
This is a long-term career opportunity with potential for growth. Most of our employees have been with us 2-5+ years. Commercial Cleaning Job Description:
-15-20 hours per week, including driving time. There will be an option of additional hours, if desired.
-Commercial cleanings take place outside of normal business hours and are primarily scheduled between 5pm-12am. There is flexibility to work additional hours in the afternoons, later in the evenings, and/or on weekends, but that is not required.
-The majority of cleanings are standard maintenance (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, and cleaning kitchens & bathrooms) with occasional initial/deep cleanings. The work is moderately physically demanding.
-Preferred start date on or before Nov 11th, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Compensation:
-$23/hr starting, with annual raises up to $27/hr.
-Paid training at $18/hr.
-3 month trial period at $21/hr.
-Paid Time Off
-2 weeks of annual PTO.
-1 week of paid sick time.
-Annual bonuses.
-Paid travel time.
-Fully paid between jobs.
-Excess driving is paid for jobs farther than 20 minutes from your home.
Required Experience:
-At least 1 year of professional cleaning or 2+ years in another physical trade.
-2+ years of experience working as part of a team.
-2+ years of experience working and communicating directly with clients/customers.
Other Requirements:
-Comfort working a physical job for at least 20 hours per week.
-Ability to carry a cleaning bucket, mop, & vacuum cleaner to and from offices and/or houses & up and down stairs.
-Everyone must have their own, reliable car.
-Excellent communication skills, both with our team and with clients.
-Proficiency with Google Calendar.
