The Williston Northampton School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Easthampton, is seeking a dynamic Head Varsity Baseball Coach. The ideal candidate will have experience playing and/or coaching at the secondary or college level, with an ability to provide leadership and direction to student-athletes, motivating them to achieve excellence. Additionally, this individual will possess a proven record of establishing positive healthy relationships with both student-athletes and parents, and enthusiasm for cultivating life skills through athletics.
This position is responsible for program oversight, acting as a role model for the students on the team, supporting the mission of the school, mentorship of assistant coaches, and administrative duties of a head coach.
The season runs from March to the middle of May with daily practices and a 20-game schedule. In March, there is a required trip to Florida for preseason. An internal coaching colleague will assist with this position.
The qualified individual must successfully complete the CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), the SORI (Sex Offender Record Information), a general background check and a fingerprint-based background check.
