Apartment community in North Adams seeking an energetic and self-motivated maintenance worker to join our team on a part time basis. Must be organized, dependable, and have proven proficiency with painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Excellent communication skills are essential as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with management and coworkers, residents, and subcontractors. All technicians participate in a rolling on-call calendar.
BROAD SCOPE OF DUTIES:
repairs to building appliances and fixtures
repair or replace plumbing fixtures
patch holes in walls
paint building interiors
clean vacant units and interior spaces
miscellaneous carpentry repairs, good carpentry skills a plus!
change locks
grounds keeping, landscaping and snow removal
