On our Digital Marketing team, the Product Merchandising Manager is responsible for the products we sell into 12 online channels including our own ecommerce website, digital marketplaces, and retailers we drop ship for.ÂFollowing the product through its lifecycle, you will guide sourcing and purchasing decisions, propose additions to the various digital channels, manage pricing and promotional decisions, and own inventory position including replenishment and aged clearance. Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. offers an engaging atmosphere, as the reach of our ecommerce business continues to grow year over year.ÂÂ Responsibilities Develop and execute product strategies to support the digital business goals. Work with digital channels to determine whitespace opportunity, and with internal design and development teams to identify trends and style direction, and uncover new product opportunities. Analyze inventory position and sales trends to direct replenishment ordering, drive promotional activity, and manage the product through its lifecycle. Manage and track orders through the supply chain, including monitoring for schedule, quality, and accuracy. Establish relationships with our digital channel customers to guide product offerings; manage those relationships with the cadence and style that each customer prefers. Offer appropriate collections of product to each channel based on a combination of the above bullet and our available sales data. Set retail pricing and/or cost targets; analyze and adjust; determine when and if products should be replenished, sold through and discontinued, or discounted to clearance. Build merchandising strategies in collaboration with marketing and digital team members. Ownership over inventory position and turns. Understand and communicate margin impact based on business decisions. Qualifications1-3+ years experience managing inventory, or making merchandising decisions, for an ecommerce business (ideally both). (Inventory management/merchandising without ecom experience considered for otherwise very strong candidates.) Excellent communication skills, in person, by phone, and via email. Knowledge of supply chain and inventory analysis and management practices. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including juggling multiple active projects, assigning tasks out and managing to deadlines. Strategic thinker, analytical, problem-solver by nature, driven, and communicative. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
