Duties
Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
Assemble and fabricate parts as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with logic controllers.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, as necessary for material handling.
Document production data accurately and report any discrepancies or defects.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in injection molding or related fields.
Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is a plus.
Ability to operate lathe machinery for part fabrication when required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
