Busy job shop in Charlton is looking for an experienced CNC milling set-up/operator machinist to join our team. You would provide your expertise to our diverse customer base utilizing modern CNC vertical milling machines offering the latest technology. You would set-up and machine a wide variety of materials (stainless steel, high temp alloys, steel, aluminum, etc.) supporting a multitude of different industries.
You must have at least 5 years of set-up and operating experience. You need to know G-code, feeds, speeds, surface finishes, and cutting tool applications. Our next team member must be neat and organized, able to work independently and efficiently, and have reliable transportation. Some lifting of up to 50 pounds may be necessary at times.
Experience with Fanuc controls, E2 Shop Software, and multi-axis machining and owning your own tools are all a plus. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with over time potential. Good benefits. Relaxed atmosphere. Tool purchasing program.
