Overview
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities by overseeing maintenance activities and coordinating repair efforts. This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and mechanical knowledge to manage maintenance tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Duties
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Manage the CMMS to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Collaborate with project management teams on facility improvement projects.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports on completed work.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in maintenance management.
Experience
Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams.
Proficient in project management principles related to facility maintenance.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
