VSS has an immediate opportunity in our Production Control department for:
Production Control Assistant/Material Handler
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Maintaining inventory levels of stocked items.
· Stocking shop areas as needed to insure all items are at their required levels.
· Work with purchasing dept. to maintain inventory levels
· Maintain and assist the shop's organizational system “6S” at all times.
· Lift 25lbs+ regularly
· Valid driver’s license for deliveries
· Proficiency with computers, Microsoft office, and Google Suite tools preferred.
· Packing and palletizing of finished goods.
· Load and unload freight.
· Maintain comprehensive shop wide labeling system
· Assist in continuous improvement projects.
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday with opportunities for Over-time when available.
Wages start at $18.00
