Part-time Hydroelectric Operations and Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities
⢠Daily operation of a hydroelectric facility in West Springfield, MA
⢠Working with the senior managers of the facility
⢠Ensuring cleanliness of the facility
⢠Performing minor mechanical maintenance and repair
⢠Performing minor electrical maintenance
⢠On-call responsibilities will be part of this position
Job Requirements
⢠Must live within 30 minutes of West Springfield, MA
⢠The work will require climbing ladders, working around rotating equipment, monitoring automated equipment, adding oil to hydraulic systems and operation of a chainsaw safely in various weather conditions both indoors and outside
⢠Job requires ability to lift 50 lbs
⢠Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
⢠Experience with repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic equipment is preferred
⢠Must have a clean driving record
