Mind Body & Skin is a comfortable, friendly, and professional spa that offers relaxation and balance to customers and staff, in a busy world. Our staff work together to guide clients on their path to wellness through customized mind, body and skin spa services.
The spa is open 7 days a week with various shifts available for massage therapy.
We are hoping to hire 1-2 part-time MTs based on coverage of the hours available. More hours may come available over time or due to vacations, etc.
Hours currently available to fill : Mondays daytime and evening, Fridays starting at 2:30pm , and every other Sunday( choice of hours). This position promises to have shifts to grab for more hours, when other staff take time off for vacations, sick time, etc.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and dedicated Massage Therapist, with good energy, looking for a collaborative work environment. The staff at Mind, Body & Skin is a team that is like family, working together to help clients find relaxation and balance while referring complimentary services, packages and retail. Key Responsibilities:
Consulting and Evaluating Clients: Assessing client needs, medical history and desired outcomes for massage therapy.
Performing Various Massage Treatments: Applying various massage modalities including Swedish massage, therapeutic/deep tissue, aromatherapy and stone therapy, as well as prenatal massage. Training is available where needed.
Working as a team: Maintaining cleanliness of the spa, schedule clients and ring out services. (online booking system is in place to help cut down individual responsibility per staff)
Providing Guidance and Education: Sharing knowledge of self care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of massage therapy. Ability to grow with new situations, presented by customers, and willingness to search for new techniques to help them.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of client sessions, progress, and treatment plans.
Promoting Wellness: Educating clients about the benefits of massage therapy and its role in overall health and well-being.
Maintaining a professional and therapeutic environment: Ensuring a clean and relaxing space for massage sessions, including proper hygiene and sanitation.
Experience:
Applicant must have a license for Massage Therapy for Massachusetts
Experience as a Massage Therapist preferred but not required
