Event Sales Manager
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Park View Room, a function facility located at 230 Park Avenue, Worcester and the Salisbury House double parlor, 61 Harvard Street, Worcester.
General Job Description
Respond to rental inquiries
Meet with potential customers
Coordinate lease arrangements
Promote the use of the room
Perform or coordinate the set-up and breakdowns for events
Provide or coordinate coverage during events
Maintain a schedule of events and provide the Preservation Worcester office with a copy of the schedule and leases
Inform Cornerstone Bank of all scheduled events
Meet regularly with Preservation Worcester Executive Director
Lead the development in marketing materials
Ensure that all fire codes, building codes and terms of the Preservation Worcester lease are in compliance
Minor Duties
Assist Preservation Worcester in events taking place in the its spaces
Develop a list of preferred caterers
Develop a list of approved individuals to provide coverage for events
The Event Sales Manager reports to the Executive Director of Preservation Worcester. All media contacts and community relations either funnel through the ED or must be approved by the ED.
