JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of food preparation, pastry and culinary functions. Including: mise en place, labeling, packaging, cleaning/cutting/chopping fruits and vegetables, making/proofing/baking dough for bread or pastries, portioning batches, mixing ingredients and baking cookies/pies/cakes, making ice cream, assembling sandwiches, cooking savory items in bulk while following recipe instruction, assembling food into finished products, all around assistance to the chef/owner.
Primary job function is to make the products being sold weekly at the farmer market and on the food trucks. Emphasis on food safety and hygiene.
