Nutritional Aides
Day 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Evening 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m
Weekends are required.
TaraVista Behavioral Health has an incredible opportunity to join our team as a nutritional assistant, where you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed under established dietary policies and procedures. You will:
Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
Always follow ServSafe hygiene procedures.
Assist in serving meals as necessary and timely.
Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties under established policies and procedures.
Clean work areas, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
Set up meals, food carts, unit pantries, etc. as instructed.
Assist the cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads and fruit salads.
Deliver/serve food to designated units. Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water and fruit area.
Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for meals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous food service experience is preferred.
Language/writing/communication abilities are preferred.
