Patient Registrar - 2 positions - HIRING ASAP
Location: Marlborough, MA & Worcester, MA
Salary: $21 - $22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
Process patient registrations efficiently and accurately.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments as needed.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with medical record management and data entry.
Address patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred).
Previous experience in a healthcare setting or patient registration preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
