SUMMARY: Rand Whitney Container is seeking a human resource leader to help enhance the organization’s culture and structure. This unique opportunity will work closely with Rand Whitney Container Senior Management on the employee experience and organizational objectives. Additionally, this role will align functional human resources, compliance, and vision to support the evolving and growing needs of Rand Whitney Container.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach managers on effective leadership, communication methods and employee development. Work with Sr. Management on the development of measurable goals, performance management programs, constructive feedback, and succession planning.
Partner with the talent acquisition team on developing a recruitment strategy focused on top talent and diversity through targeted outreach, pipeline generation and compelling marketing of the organization and job opportunities. Participate in the facilitation of panel interviews and selection process of all exempt staff.
Lead employee engagement and retention efforts through regular meetings, company communications, employee surveys, team building events and the development and management of a mentorship program.
Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives through the promotion of education, brand visibility and organizational design that fosters professional opportunities and growth for all.
Advise managers on all employee relations issues including complaint investigations, disciplinary action, and terminations. Conduct exit interviews as applicable and follow-up on problematic virtual exit surveys.
Provide internal customer service to the various departments and employees to create a positive and professional work environment through clear communication, exemplary follow-thru and consistent application of policy and procedures.
Collaborate with the SVP of HR on organizational Human Resource strategies including development of goals, scorecards, and other key performance indicators. Communicate and review with the SVP of HR all strategic plans and any compliance actions (e.g., involuntary separations).
Facilitate and manage all corporate programs that include but is not limited to; annual compliance training, new hire orientation, division on-boarding, development workshops, benefit open enrollment, performance management process and other ad hoc projects.
Ensure HR guidance, policies and procedures complies with federal, state, and local laws along with company policy.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.

Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of State and Federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to labor, benefits and compensation.
Organized, detailed and results oriented.
Analytical
Confidential and discretion.
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft office, PowerPoint.
Minimum of 4 years in a similar HR management position required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
