Sclamos' Appliance & Furniture is seeking delivery drivers to operate our company vehicles and bring home appliances and furniture to our customers throughout Worcester County and Eastern MA. This position involves following a predetermined delivery schedule five days a week to ensure the timely satisfaction of our customers. The driver is required to load their vehicle with the day's deliveries and communicate with the main office when deliveries cannot be completed as directed.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide accurate, timely and friendly customer service when delivering products
· Drive specified route effectively and safely
· Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is signed upon completion of each delivery, then bring documentation to the main office to check in at the end of each day
· Properly maintain vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues
· Ensure all returns are removed from your vehicle and brought to service department
· Inspect, protect, and maintain company assets, merchandise, and vehicles
· Periodically assist in the warehouse as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to regularly lift, load and deliver merchandise/product weighing up to 300lbs with a partner using hand trucks and other appropriate equipment
· Valid driver’s license
· Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
· Automotive/driving experience is a plus!
Day Range: Monday - Friday
Hours: From 8:00 AM until deliveries are completed (Approx. 8 hour shifts)
