Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Care Specialist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and professionalism of commercial spaces. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in an independent environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness.
Remove trash and ensure proper waste disposal.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables.
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance.
Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Communicate with the company regarding any issues, needs, or updates related to the facilities.
Requirements
Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently within assigned timeframes.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Contract Details
Payment: $21/hour
Work Schedule: M-F and every other Weekend
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.
Frequency: 8 hours a day
