We are looking for an experienced dry clean presser.
Open to training beginners if there is prior experience with assembly/service work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press machines to iron and finish garments
- Inspect garments for any defects or stains before pressing
- Use steam irons or pressing machines to remove wrinkles and create crisp lines
- Handles delicate fabrics with care to prevent damage
- Follow specific instructions for pressing different types of fabrics and garments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other laundry tasks as needed, such as sorting, bagging, and folding
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a presser or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate press machines and steam irons effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure garments are properly pressed and free of defects
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as a team
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: M-F, 8am-12pm (flexible upon discussion)
