Small farm with Nigerian Dwarf goats and vegetable gardens in Barre, MA seeks farmhand for goatcare and/or gardening. We can be flexible with hours.
Goat responsibilities include feeding, haying, watering, and caring for goats; barn clean up.
Our goats are very friendly, energetic, and love people. Weâre looking for a person who loves animals and enjoys working outside. Previous farm experience, including specific experience with goats, is a plus. Goat milking experience is a plus but not required. Must be reliable and able to come to work consistently, and provide advance notice for any cancellations. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Vegetable garden work is mostly weeding and mulching. We grow organically (although we are not certified).
Pay is $12/hour.
