Job Description – Maintenance Technician for Lamb City Campground
Overview:
Sado Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lamb City Campground in Phillipston, MA. This seasonal position runs part-time from May 1 through October 31 and requires 30 hours per week. Working hours will emphasize peak periods, including weekends and holidays.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the property and equipment. Duties include maintaining restrooms, showers, campsites, building exteriors, common areas, and recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely repairs of all equipment and cleanliness, safety, and functionality of campground facilities.
Perform sweeps of the property grounds noting any maintenance needed to optimize the campground curb appeal.
Maintain a basic understanding of the campground’s infrastructure including but not limited to the water, sewer, and electrical systems.
Work with heavy equipment, including a tractor and snowplow.
Use the propane station to help fill tanks for customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Hard-working and reliable.
Experience in general maintenance, plumbing or electrical work. Prior farming, mechanic, and/or handyman experience is a plus.
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, perform outdoor tasks, and work in varying weather conditions.
Organized, able to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and follow safety protocols.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
15,400 during the season
Free seasonal site rent or year-round onsite housing
