Our law firm client is currently seeking an attorney to handle a mass arbitration. This is a great opportunity for an associate to gain additional experience taking witnesses, arguing motions. Our client will train but trial experience along with deposition prep experience is preferred. Looking for those licensed in MA admitted attorneys.It is a mass arbitration.They have mass arbitration rules to make the work more efficient.Five plaintiffs firm working on this.Main task: Doing arbitration's in front of an arbitrator. Our law firm client has done several already and they seem to unfold in a certain way the will be discussed w/all contractors. They have a template brief and template discovery.Trial or arbitration experience, maybe opening/closing experience, maybe arguing motions. This is an active arbitration role where they will be the ones arbitrating, not just, so to speak, handing papers to the attorney next to them. MUST have the ability to think on their feet and be flexible in their thinking, act quickly. MUST learn quickly.Minimum 3 years of experience - done some taking of depositions, defended some depts or those who have a good amount of litigation experience, as well as some trial prep exposure.Solid writing skills - a lot of communication between parties, arbitrator, including a lot of verbal communication. Must have solid writing and communication skills! Should be someone who thinks about next steps.The team is very collaborative!
