Social Media Marketing Intern – PickleballU (Sturbridge, MA)

About Us:
PickleballU is a premier indoor pickleball facility located in Sturbridge, MA, dedicated to growing the game of pickleball for all ages and skill levels. From leagues and lessons to tournaments and youth programs, we're a hub for community, fitness, and fun. We’re seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to help elevate our digital presence and drive engagement across all platforms.
Who We're Looking For:
A motivated and creative full-time college student with a passion for content creation, social media trends, and community engagement. You don’t have to be a pickleball pro, but interest in sports or wellness is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Develop and schedule engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter)
Film and edit short-form videos and reels showcasing facility events, players, and promotions
Promote upcoming events, leagues, and programs through strategic posts and stories
Assist in building and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all social platforms
Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements for reach and visibility
Collaborate with staff and members to capture authentic in-the-moment content
Identify and capitalize on trends to keep PickleballU relevant and engaging
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled full-time college student (marketing, communications, social media studies, or related majors preferred)
Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook
Basic video editing and graphic design skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with strong time management and attention to detail
Ability to work on-site at our Sturbridge, MA location (some remote flexibility possible)
Energetic, positive attitude and comfortable filming or being filmed in a sports environment
