Position Summary: Cabinet Maker is primarily responsible to fabricate and assemble commercial casework. This is a Fulltime position. Prior experience in use of hand tools and mechanical ability are required. Prior experience 10-15 years working in a cabinet making shop preferred.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble millwork per direction of Plant Supervisor or shop drawings.
Prior experience required; fabricating reception desks and complex millwork.
Able to read architectural drawings, make cut sheets, templates and jigs for all fabrication of components needed.
Work with CNC engineer to fabricate components needed for specific projects.
Extensive knowledge working with Plastic laminates and veneers.
Confident fabrication of components that have concaves and rounds in the design.
Operate all other hand tools and shop equipment as needed for production.
Help assemble the large variety of products, commercial millwork, for BCI customers.
Assist all other cabinet makers as needed.
Help clean daily to maintain a safe work environment.
Other misc. tasks as needed.
Essential Job Function:
Able to lift products ranging from 15 to 100lbs.
Able to stand for 2-3 hours at a time.
Able to work in a woodwork shop environment as required.
Qualifications:
Must have strong work ethic and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
The ability to organize, prioritize and work independently and with a team.
Able to read shop drawings.
Able to produce cut list as needed.
