Busy Manufacturer requires a hands on and motivated individual to train as Maintenance Mechanic. This position is ideal for someone who right out of trade school who wants to learn or someone who is handy and wants to expand their capabilities.
This individual will work directly under the foreman's direction and instruction.
Responsibilities include:
Repairing and Maintaining of Specialized Production Equipment - including greasing and lubrication of moving parts.
Truck, Trailer and Forklift Maintenance
Stick Welding
Disassembling Obsolete Machinery
Basic Electrical Work
Experience with 3 phase electricity and stick welding proficiency are a plus
Willingness to learn and follow direction are a MUST!
Willingness to admit when you don't know how to do something!
Applicant must have their own tools.
45-50 hour week, 1st shift.
Permanent, year round position.
Pay will vary based on the candidate and their experience, but we anticipate $17-$22 per hour.
