South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), headquartered in Framingham, MA is a multi service organization that works in the community organizing resources for social change & economic independence. SUMMARY- To answer the phones, and greet children and families as they enter our center. Welcome our members as they enter for sports or use of the pool. Check members in and collect payments. Answer questions about our center. Basic office work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer phones/excellent customer service skills needed
Answer questions or find someone who can assist
Bilingual staff encouraged to apply
Take payments and run them through our POS system
Monitor the swimming pool for safety through the front desk cameras
Attend & participate in engagement team meetings as requested and communicate effectively with members, families, and staff in other areas.
Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and surrounding area
Other duties as assigned.

Basic computer skills
CPR and First Aid- we can train the right person
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Directly reports to Admin assistant
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to ascend and descend stairs
Ability to bend and stoop
Ability to sit for pro-longed periods of time
Ability to handle emergency situations if needed
WORKING CONDITIONS
Daily schedule varies but does include one weekend day 7am-2pm and possibly an evening. A successful background check is required.
