Independent singer-songwriter seeking a motivated and experienced Music Manager/Publicist to support career development and expansion. This role will focus on bookings, marketing, scheduling, and public relations to enhance visibility and audience reach.
Position Summary:
The Music Manager/Publicist will oversee the day-to-day business and promotional needs of the artist. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and familiar with the music industry landscape, including live performance booking, marketing strategies, and digital promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure live performance opportunities (venues, festivals, showcases, private events)
Manage scheduling and communications with venues, collaborators, and media contacts
Develop and implement marketing and publicity campaigns
Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement
Coordinate press coverage, interviews, playlist placements, and media features
Assist with release campaigns for singles, albums, and video content
Provide strategic input on branding and career development
Qualifications:
Experience in artist management, publicity, or related music industry roles
Strong organizational and project management skills
Knowledge of live music booking and promotion practices
Proficiency in social media and digital marketing strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
