Office Assistant – Oxford. MA
Small, busy tax office looking for motivated individual to provide a combination of administrative assistance and tax support. The candidate must enjoy providing customer service and be reliable. A high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are important. The candidate should be a team player and excellent in communicating both verbally and in writing. Dog-friendly environment.
Administrative duties include answering phones, greeting customers, making appointments, filing paperwork, performing data entry, scanning documents and along with any other tasks that contribute to the function of the office.
Tax Support duties include calling clients for additional information, processing tax returns, maintaining databases, and filing customers’ tax returns.
Core skills required:
· Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Word
and Excel; OfficeTools; QuickBooks knowledge is a plus.
· Using office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
· Having basic mathematical skills
· Handling sensitive and confidential information properly
· Performing clerical duties
