ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGMENT

We are seeking an experienced Conventional Assistant Manager with strong marketing experience for a portfolio of residential apartment units. The right candidate will be self-motivated, display professionalism and a talent for customer service. COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE A MUST. Some weekend hours will be needed periodically.

In this role, You will market and lease the properties to full potential and in accordance with company policies and fair housing laws.

Communication with prospective renters and current tenants in person, by phone or email. Strong follow-up of leads; Conduct tours with prospects; Process and screen applications.

Own property marketing. Engage and develop social media, online, newsletters, flyers, email blasts, and other advertising.

Cultivate professional relationships with Residents and agencies.

Regularly walk the property and perform unit inspections.

General administrative duties as assigned.

Assist in effectively marketing all apartments.

Qualifies, and leases apartments in accordance to Fair Housing Guidelines. Assists in the review and /or processing of rental applications, lease forms, and reports to ensue they are properly completed according to property guidelines.

Monitors and/or conducts follow-up calls and traffic documentation.

resident retention and problem resolution with residents.

Assist with rent collection and ensures deposits, recording of rent and reports are completed in a timely manner.

Assist in scheduling and recording all maintenance requests.

Perform all move-in and move out inspections to ensure the highest standards are maintained on the property.

Maintain property files, records, and reports.

Code and processes invoices in a timely manner.

Answer telephones, greet residents and prospective residents, filing and copying

- Prepare a New tenant File

- Run errands: office products, bank, post office, signs (if needed)

- Service calls placement

Required Experience:

2+ years of Real Estate Management/Property Management experience or related experience such as a real estate agent or equivalent.

A high school degree or GED is preferred

Customer service experience

Office management knowledge

Business office equipment and Microsoft Office experience (knowledge of Word and Excel is a must)

Excellent organization skills
