Key Responsibilities:

Regularly execute small to medium sized general maintenance projects.

Clean-up at various multifamily residential properties in the downtown Worcester area and surrounding cities.

Assist subcontractors as required.

Inspect properties in portfolio for additional maintenance/construction tasks and report back to manager.

Work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment to ensure work gets done on time.

Track all tasks through maintenance software and update as needed.

Rotate on-call duties with other technicians and be available to respond to night and weekend emergencies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduated from a vocational school, or 3 years of building trade experience required.

License to operate a motor vehicle, clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Possess a professional and positive demeanor in dealing with clients and team members.

Prior experience in landscaping, building construction or property management strongly preferred.

Specific experience in one or more of the following will distinguish individual candidates: landscaping, general construction, rough or finish carpentry, masonry, electrical, construction supervision, snow removal, and property management.

Passion and patience for doing things correctly.

Must be OSHA 10 certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment (SCI will pay any certification costs).

Ability to read, write and speak Spanish a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

Full-time schedule during normal business hours including some nights and weekends as needed

Hourly rate of $22-$28/hour dependent on experience
