Counter/Sales Assistant
Looking for an energetic person to join to our team. This position has a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Customer service – working with customers on the phone and in person
Sales – knowledge of or learning basic parts and equipment to be able to better assist customers
Stocking – Distributing part orders when received. This can include putting parts in general stock for future repairs/sales, filling customer orders or advising mechanics when parts have arrived for repair jobs
Computer – entering sales receipts, receiving payments, processing credit cards and other payments, using internet to look up parts on manufacturer websites, generating work orders for equipment dropped off for service (or equipment that Quaboag Equipment has picked up)
Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries of equipment for repair, or deliveries of new equipment purchased by customers
Scheduling of work orders/workflow to mechanics
Keeping the showroom neat
Updating social media/website
