Experienced Dozer Operator needed ASAP on large commercial site in Uxbridge, MA.
-The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to earthmoving and site preparation.
-Must be able to operate a variety of equipment including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
-Must be able to operate in a safe and controlled manner in close proximity to the ground crews, other vehicles and equipment.
-Must be able to interact daily with supervisors and coworkers professionally.
-Must have the ability to run equipment independently and as part of a team
-Support team members with projects on site
-Have a strong mechanical understanding of the equipment
-Will need to be able to perform general/preventative maintenance including greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning tracks.
-Conduct daily inspections on equipment before operating to identify and report any issues
-Monitor the safety of the site and keep it free of unnecessary hazards
-Maintain records of hours worked to report to supervisors for approval
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Posses a valid drivers license
-Posses a Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License
-Posses an OSHA-10/30
-Own reliable transportation is required to get to and from site in a reliable and timely manner.
Monday - Friday 7-4 with opportunities for more overtime.
This position reports directly to the site supervisor and foreman and is not responsible for the management of other employees on the job site.
