We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of auto body repair, as well as experience in painting and detailing, this means that you must have prior auto body experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for tearing down and repairing vehicles and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The Auto Body Technician must also be able to work independently and efficiently in order to meet deadlines. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is interested in an ownership opportunity. The current owner wants to retire within the next 3-5 years and would like to sell the business, preferably to someone employed here. Competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities:
Repair and replace damaged body parts.
Perform welding and metal fabrication.
Perform bodywork, such as hammering out dents, filling in holes, and smoothing out surfaces.
Prepare surfaces for painting.
Clean vehicles for delivery.
Inspect and test vehicles for proper operation and safety.
Keep records of repairs and parts needed.
