We are seeking heavy equipment operators and field technicians to work on projects all throughout MA/RI/ CT. Responsibilities include but are not limited to running and operating; excavators, lulls, skid steers, loaders, laboring, laying pipe, trenching and remediation work.
Position Requirements
- Must be able to operate a variety of equipment such as: excavator, bulldozer, skid steer, loader, lull, etc. (not all operators will be required to work with every piece of equipment, but all applicants should be familiar with multiple.)
- Ensure proper care while vehicles are in use
- Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging
- Regularly inspects and maintains equipment as required
- Dig, spread, level dirt, gravel, or sand; mixes, pours and spreads concrete and asphalt using hand tools
- Perform a variety of machine and non-machine tasks such as removing forms, placing pipe in trench, jack hammering and tapping
- Promote workplace safety and environmental practices
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
MA Hoisting Required or plan on receiving
2+ years of previous general labor construction experience and other applicable state licenses
Osha 10 Construction Certification and OSHA Hazwopper, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training)
Ability to pass appropriate written tasks and associated Operator Qualification tests
