Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC technician will be responsible for performing service calls, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that HVAC systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems are functioning properly.
Test HVAC systems for proper operation, efficiency, and safety.
Install and replace HVAC components, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and filters.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, invoices, and inventory.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to explain HVAC issues and recommended solutions.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing HVAC work.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an HVAC certification program or apprenticeship.
years of experience as an HVAC technician.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type I and II).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
