Established family owned truck equipment upfitter with an immediate opening for a full time mechanic.
Background in the repair of truck mounted cranes and hydraulic equipment preferred but not required. The ideal person should have the ability to evaluate hydraulic problems, disassemble heavy equipment, trace and problem solve wiring issues.
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in crane repair and operation preferred but not required
Knowledge in repairing heavy equipment a plus.
Experience with electrical systems troubleshooting.
Good communication skills with co workers and possible customer interaction
Must have own tools, we supply specialized tools
40 hrs per week with potential for some overtime. We offer health care and other benefits.
PLEASE NOTE - We do not repair truck engines, transmissions, brakes, etc. We only repair the equipment mounted to the truck for example: cranes, stick booms, aerial equipment, rail gear, truck mounted fork lifts, etc. If you want to work on something different in a low stress environment contact us today.
