Small construction company in Southborough, Massachusetts has an opening for an experienced mechanic / equipment manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel problems.
- Recommend, get approved and complete cost effective repairs.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
- Manage shop inventory and keep shop neat and organized.
- Must be able to account for company tools and equipment at all times.
- Coordinate with insurance company regarding coverage and claims
- Coordinate with job supervisors to ensure they have tools they need
- Monitor vehicle and equipment usage.
- Ensure employees are following vehicle and equipment policies
- Misc projects
Welding experience a plus. Candidate must have a valid drivers license.
