Position: Sheet Metal Apprentice
Location: Worcester
Type: Full-Time/29-31 an hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
Assist skilled sheet metal technicians in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of HVAC ductwork and components
Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal parts using hand and power tools
Install and secure ductwork and other metal components in residential and commercial settings
Ensure all work is completed to safety standards and in compliance with building codes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and handle materials safely
Qualifications:
Sheet metal apprentice card in Ma
The ideal candidate will be proficient with Return Ducts, Main Ducts, Ventilation Components, Grilles and Registers, Diffusers, Sheet Metal Fittings, Flanges, Transition Pieces, Access Panels, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Heat Pumps, Furnaces and Boilers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights
Basic math skills and knowledge of measuring tools
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic\
