EY is ready to help our government build a better working world.Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.The opportunityThis is a remote opportunity that can be performed within Continental United States.We’re looking for a Zscaler Administrator skilled professional with hands on security engineering expertise in implementation of Zscaler technology.You will manage, implement, and maintain Zscaler to meet business requirements. You will develop relationships across the business and EY Technology to understand requirements, apply technical knowledge to solve business problems and work closely with other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Your key responsibilities

Responsible for building, testing, and implementing network security systems within an organization’s IT network (On Prem & Cloud).

Expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.

Plan, design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage Zscaler (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) ) solutions.

Deployment of Zero Trust Architecture, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Micro Segmentation.

Advanced understanding of HTTP and TCP/IP Protocol.

Identify requirements, design, document, and implement technical solutions for scalable and resilient network architecture.

Experience in building networks by taking into consideration various factors like, bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security.

Individual should possess experience in planning, design, deployment, configuration, integration, and working knowledge of web-based security and network infrastructure such as Firewall, IPS, SSL/IPsec VPNs, DLP, Secure Web Gateway.

Responsible for creating ZIA polices like URL filtering, Malware, AV, file control for user traffic, dashboards, generate custom reports.

Should be well-versed with network documentation that includes network drawings, text descriptions and equipment configurations, designing HLDs and LLDs.

Working knowledge of common attacks & vulnerabilities and possess strong understanding of common categories and characteristics of malware.

Work closely with enterprise architects, other functional-area architects, engineering, and security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions and controls are in place throughout all IT and cloud systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements

Industry related certification (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM or any related vendor specific certifications e.g. ZCCA – IA, ZCCP – IA, ZCCA – PA, ZCCP - PA)

Skills and attributes for success

Deep technical understanding of Infrastructure security components architecture.

Understanding of Azure/Azure Gov (Gateways, Firewalls, Network Security Groups, vWAN, vNets, etc.) architecture and components with specialized awareness of network services.

Deep knowledge of services and service delivery approach and methodology for Infrastructure security including governance and operating models.

Proven track record in building and maintaining trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Willingness to work shift-based schedule as and when required.

Ability to change and adapt in a hyper-growth environment.

Self-starter and strategic thinker.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence that enable effective engagement with senior stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and communicate the technical and security related issues to client/business stakeholders

Clearly demonstrates proven extensive abilities with leveraging creative thinking and problem-solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing Office 365, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts.

Must communicate consistently and drive objectives, relying on fact-based decisions about risk that optimize the trade-off between risk mitigation and business performance.

Good presentation, project management, facilitation, and delivery skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to create domain specific training content and deliver training effectively.

Develop/Implement automation solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned to client business, technology, and threat posture.

Demonstrates ability to track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in client’s security strategy plans and architecture artefacts.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor/s Degree or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance

At least 5-7+ years of experience in infrastructure solutions.

Detailed working knowledge of web-based security and network infrastructure, Proxies, such as NGFW, SSL/IPsec VPNs, and Firewalls

Candidate should be open to support 247 for issues related to Zscaler Proxy and Remote Access services

Ideally, you’ll also have

Good soft skills i.e., verbal & written communication, technical document writing etc

Strong project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Customer orientation skills

CISSP, CISA, CISM, or any related vendor specific certification

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $83,000.00 to $150,700.00. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $99,600.00 to $171,200.00. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
