We are seeking embedded system engineers. You will be expected to:
location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

salary: $55 - 65 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:
Develop test cases and procedures for FMS Systems Requirements (Functional - SSRS, User Interface - UI Spec)
Develop and run test scripts to verify the FMS functionality
Perform Regression Testing by running the test procedures/scripts impacted by the new functional content for the C919 project.
Perform test procedure updates on test procedures that do not pass or communicate to the Team Lead if a PR needs to be written.
Industry: Avionics
Development Processes: Structured (e.g. DO-178B like)
Communication Skills:
Good Verbal Communication
Good Written Communications
Required Skills:
Experience in system/software Verification including writing and executing test procedures on Flight Management Systems
Experience developing certification artifacts compliant with a product line System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) and aligned with ARP-4754
Experience with Data Dictionary and A664 data structures
Experience writing VB scripts
Working knowledge of ARINC 702A AOC and DO-258A/280B ATS functions
These would be a plus:
Systems/Software development experience
Proficiency in tools like DOORs, problem reporting and management, JIRA, VB or equivalent test scripting environment
Test Automation and Code Debugging
