Position: Beginner Handyman/Maintenance Technician
Location: Greater Lansing Region
Employment Type:Part Time, likely potential to increase hours.
Compensation: $15 per hour, & 0.75 pay raises, monthly for the first 4 months. To $18.00 an hour.
About Us: Fix-it-up Pros is a Handyman company dedicated to maintaining and enhancing residential properties in the Greater Lansing Region. Fix-it- up Pros are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual(s) to join our team as a Beginner Handyman/Maintenance Technician.

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you'll assist with a variety of tasks to ensure our customer’s properties are well-maintained and function smoothly for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and unclogging drains.
Assist with routine maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, yard work.
Mowing/brush removal
Conduct property inspections and identify areas in need of repair or maintenance (including attics, crawlspaces, and under cabinetry)
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Willing to be proactive in collaborating with senior technicians to learn and develop new skills.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service is a plus
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to bend, sit , stand, squat and lift objects up to 85 lbs ( team assistance as required)
Must be able to walk, stand, and rest on various surfaces for extended periods of time
