What it takes to be an Warehouse Handler:
Unloading trailers for delivery to distribution warehouses.
Use powered industrial equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to unload products into the warehousefrom trailers.
Break down pallets and re-stack them as needed.
Ability to work safely and efficiently, following all procedures and guidelines provided.
Moderate twisting and bending of the body to operate the equipment.
An open-mind, ready to learn from the provided equipment training.
Prior warehouse experience in operating equipment and logistics is preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Basic math skills.
WarehouseHandlers must be able to lift cases by hand weighing from 25-95lbs and can expect to handle between 50-200+ pallets.
Steel-toed safety shoes are required.
Must interact respectfully and courteously with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
Warehouse Handlers must have the ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat the majority of the workday.
