.NET Developer - REMOTE

.NET Developer - Remote

HQ is in Minneapolis - St Paul, MN - but team is nationally dispersed

$90,000 - $105,000 base range (unlimited PTO, 7.5% target bonus, benefits, etc.)

Our mid-sized, global, data-centric tech firm is looking to add 1 Software Engineer to an Agri-business / weather data product team. This is an established, revenue generating, national web-based product providing data, analytics, product recommendations, etc. to their agri-business customers (could be insurance, agrichemical, biotech, university, etc.)

This platform has a mix of old and new languages - looking to update, enhance and build new features / functionality. There is a future for this platform and opportunity for advancement, ability to learn new languages and cloud-based environments!

Team consists of 2 Devs, 2-3 Data Engineers, 1 QA. They are very collaborative and work off a Kanban board, using Jira.

Currently, we are looking for:

  • Personality - looking for someone inquisitive, proactive, and hungry to learn! We are looking for maturity, self-motivation type to handle their time and collaborate / communicate w/ your team.
  • .NET
    • C#
    • .NET Core
    • There is still some legacy code ( VB.NET and ASP.NET that will need to get converted to newer versions)
  • API
  • Postgres DB (exposure is nice to have as they do have Data Engineers on team - but would like to cross train if possible)

    • Stored procedures, etc.
  • Experience w/ Java as well is a nice bonus (as there is another product that could split time on - not required and the level of experience and pay would increase accordingly).
